The team at Parker Dentistry feels it is very important to making the community better. We love the community we are in and feel businesses and people that make an impact lead happier lives by lifting up the people around them. We have specifically partnered with a couple organizations that are special to Dr. Parker
Second Harvest Food Bank
As a teenager growing up in Orange County, Dr. Parker and his family were involved in volunteering at Second Harvest. It was great working in fields harvesting the food leftover and working in the facility organizing donated canned foods. The organization does a great service to those right here in the local community.
At our annual open house we have a food drive and donate all the food to Second Harvest Food Bank. We hold our open house in February each year so watch out for announcements on the date so you can participate!
While an undergraduate student at BYU in Provo, Utah, Dr. Parker was able to volunteer at a domestic violence shelter. He saw firsthand the positive impact a shelter like this had on the people in need of these services.
This year as part of the Smiles For Life campaign, 50% of all money spent on whitening procedures at the office is donated directly to Laura’s House. The other 50% goes to the national Smiles For Life campaign. The Smiles for Life campaign was started by dentists over 16 years ago and so far has raised over 33 million dollars for children’s charities all over the world.
