All on 4 Permanent Dentures

All on 4 permanent dentures include four (or sometimes 6) dental implants which are placed in the jaw and create a stable foundation for the denture to be screwed into to create stability for your permanent dentures.

With All n 4 we can create a smile that is as close to your original teeth as possible. No adhesives, no removing your teeth at night. Simply come back a couple times a year to our office near Mission Viejo to have the permanent dentures cleaned and for an oral cancer screening.

Supporting and Securing Your Denture

Dentures can be supported in different ways. The traditional method of support is to rest on the gums and create a tight fit to stay as stable as possible.

As implants have evolved, they allow for a much more stable support. Several implants placed can allow for the denture to snap in or actually screw into the implants. These dentures can radically improve the quality of life for the patient.

The confidence to chew without having to use adhesive or the tongue and cheek to keep the denture stable is pretty amazing.

Caring For Your Dentures

Whether you choose to get traditional dentures or permanent denture implants, there are some things you can do to extend the life of your new teeth:

  • The bone changes so much underneath the gums that dentures should be relined every 3 to 5 years to stay comfortable and fully functional.
  • When cleaning your denture apparatus, avoid toothpaste as it will scratch them allowing for more plaque to build up and thus make it more difficult to clean.
  • In our office, we have an ultrasonic machine that can get rid of the toughest build up. We would be happy to do that for you whenever you would like.
